Graduates registering in the intern scope of practice 

The online registration process is now open for New Zealand and Australian BPharm graduates to apply to register in the Intern Pharmacist scope of practice.  

Please ensure that you apply for your MoJ police check - you will need to do this as soon as possible, and by 4 December at the latest. You can start the application for your police check here.

To be able to start the EVOLVE intern training programme on 1 February 2018, you must apply to register by 25 January 2018.


Criminal History Checks

To obtain a copy of your NZ record of criminal convictions please contact the Ministry of Justice http://www.justice.govt.nz/criminal-records/. You should allow at least 25 working days for this.

NZ and Australian graduates registering in the intern pharmacist scope of practice must provide a criminal conviction record.
  • If you have resided in another country, prior to initial registration with the Pharmacy Council, you will be required to provide a criminal convictions record from each country you have resided in. There may be exceptions where this has already been checked by Immigration New Zealand.
