BPharm Graduates


The earliest date for a NZ or Australian BPharm graduate to register as an intern pharmacist is 15 December 2017.  Please check back here when you have received confirmation from your university that you have passed your BPharm degree, to start the online application process.


Criminal History Checks


To obtain a copy of your NZ record of criminal convictions please contact the Ministry of Justice http://www.justice.govt.nz/criminal-records/. You should allow at least 25 working days for this.

NZ and Australian graduates registering in the intern pharmacist scope of practice must provide a criminal conviction record.
  • If you have resided in another country, prior to initial registration with the Pharmacy Council, you will be required to provide a criminal convictions record from each country you have resided in. There may be exceptions where this has already been checked by Immigration New Zealand.
